Island Sands is a hidden gem located on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This small 27-unit condominium offers a peaceful retreat with an uncrowded beach. Listen to the waves roll in and feel the powder white sand under your feet as you walk down to the beach, just steps from your back door. The community swimming pool provides a relaxing place to sunbath and take a dip. Close to all local attractions, entertainment, and restaurants... Island Sands is the perfect beach location.
This ground floor unit is great for families with small children. There are no stairs, elevators, or balconies to worry about. There is a grassy area just outside the back door that provides a great spot to hang out.
The 1 bedroom/1.5 bathroom unit includes: A fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals, a large breakfast bar that seats four, a living room with 2 brand new sleeper sofas with 8.5 inch mattresses, smart TV, and two sets of glass sliders that lead to the patio. A master bedroom with a king size bed (brand new Provencial Pillowtop mattress), blackout draperies, smart TV, and half bath. Full size bathroom with shower/tub combination in the hallway. Washer and dryer in unit.

Parking for larger vehicles: Extended cab vehicles, large passenger trucks, or other large vehicles that extend beyond the marked boundary lines of the parking spot must be parked in the overflow lot to the north of the complex.
We go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable: Plenty of pillows on each bed along with extra sheets and blankets if needed. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher soap, dish liquid, laundry detergent, bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner. All-purpose cleaner.

We have a pontoon boat that is rented exclusively to our guests. The boat needs to be reserved at least 24 hours in advance. The boat launches out of The Fort Walton Beach Yacht Basin.
Discounted monthly rates available November- February. To get a monthly rate quote during this timeframe you must enter a 28-night stay or more. Feel free to contact us should you have further questions.

Perfect vacation!
Quiet, clean and comfortable; steps from the beach. My daughter and I made an impromptu beach trip and stayed in 103 Island Sands in Ft. Walton Beach. This ground level one-bedroom was e xceptional. The king mattress in the master was so comfortable, the kitchen was very clean and well stocked, and the living room was large and could accommodate other guests. We cooked most meals in the condo and had everything we needed; utensils, cookware, serving dishes, etc. Though you couldn't see the ocean over the dune immediately behind the back patio (BBQ grill included btw) you were 20 paces from the boardwalk that provided private beach access and a shower for your return from the salt and sand. The beaches at the end of Island were uncrowded and beach service was provided. More bath and beach towels than we could possibly use, and extra linens were also provided. This unit is a jewel for a small family and Kimberly Lang is our go to rental company on the Emerald Coast. We are never disappointed!
